Motorized Pendulum Impact Tester Series PH-CHV (up to 900 J)

Motorized pendulum impact testing system (150 to 900 Joules) for Charpy, Izod, and impact tensile testing of metals and alloys per ISO 148-1 and ASTM E23.

Part No: PH-CHV-900
ISO 148-1 / ISO 148-2 ASTM E23 EN 10045-1 / EN 10045-2 DIN 50115 GOST 9454

Overview

The TestingGmbH PH-CHV Series is a high-energy motorized pendulum impact tester designed for determining the absorbed impact energy and fracture resistance of metals and structural alloys. Available in capacities from 150 J up to 900 J, the system features a rigid vibration-damping cast iron U-frame, automatic motorized pendulum return, electric electromagnetic release, and a full acrylic safety enclosure with interlocking doors. Complies with ISO 148-1, EN 10045-2, and ASTM E23.

Applications

Charpy V-notch and U-notch impact testing of structural steels
Izod impact testing of metals, polymers, and composites
Sub-sized specimen and cryogenic temperature impact testing
Ductile-to-brittle transition temperature (DBTT) curve determination
Quality control in steel mills, forges, automotive, and pipeline engineering

Key Features

Heavy cast iron U-frame providing maximum rigidity and minimal base vibration loss
Motorized pendulum lift with automatic re-arming after swing
