High-Temperature Split-Tube Testing Furnace (up to 1200°C)

Precision three-zone split-tube electric furnace (up to 1200°C) with digital multi-zone PID temperature programmer for tensile, creep, and fatigue testing.

Part No: HTF-1200
ISO 6892-2 (High Temperature Tensile) ASTM E21 ASTM E139 (Creep & Stress Rupture) ISO 12106 / ASTM E606 (High Temp Fatigue)

Overview

The TestingGmbH HTF-1200 is a high-temperature split-tube heating furnace designed for materials testing at elevated temperatures up to 1200°C. Engineered to mount directly onto universal testing machines and dynamic fatigue test frames, the furnace splits open for easy specimen insertion and inspection. Featuring three independently controlled heating zones, it ensures a highly uniform temperature profile along the specimen gauge length in accordance with ISO 6892-2, ASTM E21, and ASTM E139.

Applications

Elevated temperature tensile testing of superalloys and refractory metals
Creep and stress rupture testing of high-temperature steels
Low cycle fatigue (LCF) and thermo-mechanical fatigue (TMF) testing
Ceramic, coating, and composite thermal degradation analysis
Aerospace turbine blade and nuclear reactor material qualification

Key Features

Split-tube design with side hinges and latching handles for rapid specimen loading
Three independent heating zones with low-thermal-mass vacuum-formed ceramic fiber insulation
K-type or S-type thermocouples positioned close to the specimen gauge section
Digital multi-zone PID temperature controller with ramp, soak, and data logging
Side port openings for high-temperature axial extensometers
Stainless steel external shell with low exterior surface temperature
